Academic Awards

As our 8th grade students come to the close of their final year at the Academy, we are proud to give the following awards to those students who have been exceptional members of the Academy community:

Mother Seton Outstanding Youth Award

Our highest, all-around award, it is given to one eighth grade student who best exemplifies the Catholic school philosophy, as well as the Saint Chris Academy mission statement. This student sets, meets and maintains high academic goals, has high moral character, and demonstrates genuine Christian spirit. This recipient takes what he or she has learned in all areas and uses his or her talents to make Saint Christopher Academy and the world a better place. In addition, this recipient demonstrates the ability to lead in a positive manner.

The Father Denis Horan Award

This award is a tribute to a former Nashua Catholic school chaplain who was a champion and fierce supporter of Catholic schools. A recipient of “The Deny Award” mirrors the attributes of the chaplain: someone who is respectful and unassuming in the classroom, dependable, disciplined in effort and behavior, and hardworking.
