Before Care


Before school care (for an extra fee) opens at 6:30 AM. Students enter through the cafeteria doors.

 

Regular School Day

 

Doors open for the regular school day at 7:30 AM and students enter through the cafeteria doors. The late bell rings at 8:00 AM and the school day runs until 2:30 PM.  Students entering the building after 8:00 AM. are expected to enter through the main foyer entrance near the gymnasium.

 

Our school is open Monday through Friday for all students. The daily schedule is as follows:


6:30 AM to 7:30 AM – Morning Cafe (extra charge)

  • Students should enter through the Cafeteria entrance from the parking lot.
  • Students may bring breakfast, work on homework, or just socialize.
  • Morning Cafe is $3.50 per half hour segment, billed monthly.
  • Note: On delayed opening days, Morning Cafe opens at 8:30 AM.

 

7:30 to 7:55 AM – Regular Morning Drop-off (no charge)

  • Students should enter through the Cafeteria entrance from the parking lot.
  • From 7:30 to 7:45, students will wait in the cafeteria.
  • At 7:45, students will report to their Advisory class.
  • Note: On delayed opening days, morning drop-off is from 9:45 to 10:00 AM.

 

7:55 to 8:13 AM – Advisory

  • Students who arrive after 7:55 AM must enter through the front doors of the school by the gym, and will be marked tardy.
  • Students will be sent directly to their Advisory class.

 

8:13 AM - First Class 

  • Students are released from Advisory and move to their first class of the day.

 

2:30 PM Buses arrive (some delays possible dependent on bus schedule)

 

2:30 PM After Care begins

 

6:00 PM After Care closes

 

Early Dismissal Days


Early Dismissal days occur several times throughout the school year so teachers may attend professional development workshops. On these days, all students are released at 11:30 AM. There is no Hot Lunch available on Early Dismissal days and no After Care program.

 

 

Winter School Delays and Cancellations –

In the case of inclement weather, school cancellations or delays will be posted on this website, on the Academy Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/SaintChrisAcademy, on radio station WZID 95.7 FM and also on TV channel 9 (WMUR). Parents will also receive text messages on their cell phones, voice messages on home phones, and/or emails.

Please note that our notification system is not foolproof….power and internet outages may interfere with delivery of the text messages, robocalls, and voice messages. We will post the information on the school website and Facebook, as well as contacting WMUR, as soon as we are able. Please also know that we do not post school delays or closings until we receive confirmation from the appropriate administrator in the Nashua public schools, which may delay notification in some cases.
